I had been in terrible pain in my mouth, jaw, and ear with severe sensitivity for about 10 days when I landed in Dr. Polk’s office. I had seen several dentists who all had different opinions on how to treat my pain I was confused, worried about my teeth, and in a lot of pain. Multiple dentists told me that I needed a crown and possibly a root canal —but in my gut I felt this wouldn’t address my pain and severe sensitivity. By the time I met Dr Polk I was at my wits end. His team was very friendly, caring, and accommodating. Jenra and Helen helped take care of me quickly without prolonging more pain. I ended up having to get my tooth extracted from an oral surgeon that evening, but I will say that I wish I had just come to Dr Polk first! It would’ve saved me a lot of time and a lot of radiation from all of the scans that I was getting in dentist offices. His scan was more detailed and he was able to show me precisely why my tooth needed to be extracted. His demeanor was calm and decisive, and I trusted his judgment immediately. If you are unsure about your condition, or you want a second opinion, or you’re tired of getting the runaround from dentists who don’t have the right diagnostic equipment, don’t delay. I highly recommend Dr. Polk and his team. I’m so grateful they could fit me in on the same day I called during an emergency and they got me in the right treatment and into the right hands.

Dr. Polk and his wonderful staff (Kate, Jenra, Jazmin, all of them) are very kind, upfront, and accommodating. Came in super scared for my 1st root canal and everyone is so sweet and professional. Dr. & Techs are happy to explain - ask them any question, they're happy to help. Clean, organized facility with more than competent staff. Recently to get an unexpected dental procedure due to a cracked tooth. Dr. Livingood and his assistant Janet took great care of me during the procedure making sure I knew every step that was next.

Janet and Dr. Livingood were the best. I was totally freaked out and they were super chill, professional and efficient. Hate root canals but if I have to get them done I'm using the Dr. Livingood and assistant Janet combo for sure!!!

I had a really positive experience with this office. The staff was friendly from start to finish, and I especially want to highlight Janet, the assistant. She was incredibly authentic, accommodating, and attentive throughout my root canal. She answered all of my questions with confidence and clarity, which really helped put me at ease. The orthodontist was also great—very gentle and took the time to explain every step of the procedure. I usually dread dental anesthesia because I can always feel the needle, but this time I didn’t feel anything at all, which made a huge difference for me. The only downside was that the orthodontist stepped away a few times during the procedure to attend to other patients. I’ve had negative experiences with that in the past, so it made me a bit uneasy. That said, everything went smoothly in the end, and overall I’m happy with the care I received.
